HALLWOOD FARM  OAST - a building with a rural history

For centuries our oasthouse was used for drying  hops,  grown on the farm until 1985.  This characterful, beamed building has now been converted into a spacious farmhouse, with 2 lovely guest rooms.

One mile south of Cranbrook, the oast sits at the end of a private farm lane.  It overlooks the working farmyard, in the centre of 200 acres of Ribena blackcurrants, apple orchards and sheep pastures and provides the perfecct rural base from which to explore the gardens, castles and stately homes of Kent and East Sussex.
